Join us at the Art Gallery of New South Wales to hear our founder and director, John Kaldor, discuss his extraordinary gift to gallery. Assembled over 50 years of collecting and arts patronage, the gift comprises over 200 works by some of the most important artists of our time. As a result, the Art Gallery of New South Wales now hold Australia's most comprehensive representation of contemporary art from the 1960s to the present day. Hear John Kaldor discuss this important collection and his longstanding friendships with many of its artists.
