To launch our series of public programs for The Last Resort, celebrated French/Albanian artist Anri Sala appeared in conversation with Maud Page, Deputy Director and Director of Collections, Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Guided by Page's astute observations, Sala shared insights into the conceptual and creative development of The Last Resort, touching on complex themes of colonialism, memory and history, and the relationship between sound and image.
This event was Auslan interpreted for Deaf and hearing impaired audiences.
