We are currently seeking volunteers to be a part of our most ambitious project to date, 13 Rooms.
We realised early on here at Kaldor Public Art Projects (with our first project in fact), that it's impossible for us to create the groundbreaking projects that we do, on our own. Now, with the huge task of manning Pier 2/3 for the duration of 13 Rooms ahead, we are searching once again for volunteers to help us out.
If you posses the qualities below, you may be just who we're looking for:
* Have an interest/background in contemporary art
* Are reliable and organised
* Are energetic and feel confident working with members of the public
* May have experience in hospitality or events
* Are available to volunteer for at lease 3 shifts over the exhibition period (11 April - 21 April 2013)
What will you be helping us with?
As a volunteer invigilator, you will be to helping us out with the day-to-day running of Project 27: 13 Rooms. You will also be assisting and directing visitors, answering questions, and ensuring the safety of the performers in the exhibition space as well as assisting us with the running of the Front Desk/Reception area, and with our many public programs.
Volunteering for 13 Rooms is a great way to gain experience in the behind the scenes workings of a major art exhibition, meet artists, make contacts and help others enjoy and to engage with this groundbreaking contemporary art project.
