Acclaimed international artists Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla present their celebrated work Stop, Repair, Prepare: Variations on 'Ode to Joy' for a prepared Piano, for the 26th Kaldor Public Art Project.

The work, to be presented at Melbourne's State Library of Victoria from 16 November until 6 December 2012 integrates sound, performance and sculpture to create a captivating new experience for audiences, heralding a new direction for international contemporary art.

Allora and Calzadilla live and work in Puerto Rico and have been collaborating as an artist duo for fifteen years, producing an experimental and interdisciplinary body of work combining performance, video and sound.

Stop, Repair, Prepare was first exhibited in Haus der Kunst in Munich in 2008 and has since been represented in a number of museums across Europe and, most famously, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
