Toto from The Wizard of Oz made from flowers

MARGOT RENTON

The scale of a terrier dog, which reminded me of Toto from The Wizard of Oz, made from flowers was surreal and wonderful.

Toto from The Wizard of Oz made from flowers

At the time I was working at the Park Hyatt and caught the ferry from Balmain to Circular Quay and back. Watching the building and installation process of Puppy was captivating.

The scale of a terrier dog, which reminded me of Toto from The Wizard of Oz, made from flowers was surreal and wonderful.

Puppy stood guard over Circular Quay and watched the ferries come in and out. It was so whimsical and playful. Pure magic!

Now I catch the ferry from McMahons Point and imagine Puppy is still there.
