MOVE primary: Art in motion is a free, innovative online teaching and learning resource designed for classroom use by all primary students. Moving image artworks by some of Australia’s best-known artists are accompanied by engaging student activities, comprehensive resource materials providing information on the artists and their works, teaching notes and curriculum links.

The online package focuses on the video art work of five acclaimed Australian artists: Shaun Gladwell, Jess MacNeil, Joan Ross, Daniel von Sturmer and Grant Stevens. Designed for access by students, MOVE primary: Art in motion also encourages teachers to be active participants, guiding students through the viewing and learning activities.

Each artist resource contains:

- a video artwork for study

- a video introduction by the artist

- an artist statement

- ideas to explore, discuss and share in the classroom

- artmaking activities
