School Programs

Visits to our Art Projects offer a unique opportunity to bring teachers and students into direct, powerful contact with the latest in contemporary art practice.

School tours are led by experienced art educators who creatively contextualise the artist’s work and process within conceptual frameworks and syllabus requirements. Our online Education Kits can be accessed at any time, in preparation for your visit and for follow-up activities.

Art patron, collector and Kaldor Public Art Projects Director John Kaldor speaks to secondary and tertiary Visual Art students about upcoming Kaldor Art Projects, artists and related themes. An inspiring speaker, John Kaldor actively encourages questions and deep engagement with visual art.

Kaldor Public Art Projects offers presentations at your school, or within the John Kaldor Family Gallery at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Since moving to our new home at Sydney College of the Arts, we have hosted secondary school groups at Kaldor Public Art Projects headquarters, featuring a tour of SCA, and presentation with Q&A by John Kaldor.

We welcome secondary students for a behind-the-scenes look at our organisation, our extensive archive, and an introduction to SCA, The University of Sydney’s school of contemporary art.
